Before today, I only know 2 ways to cook Pork Chop: Fried Pork Chop or Pork Chop Steak.
I challenged myself to do something new with it this time. Since it’s the canned mushroom that I saw from our stock, decided to browsed some photos of mushroom and pork chop meals. There goes the “expectation”!
Sharing 5 quick and easy steps, I did!
- Marinate pork chop with soy sauce. Some tips on the internet says you can use salt & pepper.
- In pan, mix cooking oil and butter and fry your pork chops about 3 to 4 minutes on each sides. Keep aside.
- On the same pan, place mushroom and cook to the color of your liking. I like mine brown so that’s around 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic for about a minute until fragrant and smelling yummy
- Pour all-purpose cream and simmer until the sauce thickens
- Add back the pork chop in the mixture, and simmer for a minute or two. Dash salt & pepper to taste.
It was my first attempt. My family ate eat, they think it’s yummy, they finished their rice and so I believed them 🙂
Go ahead and try for you next home-cooked meal. Enjoy!
