Make a plan to be a blessing.
Last week, I feel terrible at work. There were tasks I didn’t complete, and some that I failed to do. It took me a hard time sleeping last night. I don’t know if it was worry, sadness, or restlessness but it didn’t feel good.
I woke up today, a Saturday, with the sun beaming on my face. I was reflective and took it as a message – to wake up smiling and calm, and to be intentional about this day. I realized we are all here learning as we go. We learn from the mistakes of yesterday, and carry on with the journey with a positive and a thankful heart.
If you look back, there’s much more joy when you do something for others than just for yourself. There is of course, the value of self care and self love. You have to fill a cup before you can share it, right? Do that, spend a good quality time for self and then be generous of your time for others.
Let’s make this an everyday morning routine: Give thanks and plan to be a blessing.
