Kindness is…

a gift everyone can afford to give

They bless the one who receives it, and they bless you too.

It doesn’t have to be big. Small, unexpected acts count as well. Now, more than ever, people around us needs this gift. Today, even from home I received them:

  • an officemate sent a thank you note on email (of a small things I did)
  • a friend checked on me and wished me well (this quarantine time)
  • my husband washed the dishes (because I’m too busy at work)
  • my son asked if he can help me with anything today (multiple times today)
  • my little girl said “I love you, mom’ with a kiss (out of the blue)

Because of these, despite a tough day I ended up smiling. This reminds me to fill each day with kindness, and not to waste a day not doing at least single small act for others.

Make someone smile in your own little way. Have a great day!

Spread the love
