“Be kinder than expected. Be stronger than anticipated”

Quarantine is emotionally challenging. In tough times like this, we are reminded to BE KIND, as you may have heard from another familiar quote “for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle”.
What are the common things people feel these days? I didn’t even look far, I checked my family and loved ones, to see some of the signs:
- Worried
- Difficulty in sleeping
- Low mood or sadness
- Easily becomes annoyed or angry
- Tired or exhausted
I’m sure there’s a lot more feeling for others or even worse, depending on your personality and how you cope in times like these. But what is important is that you become aware of the feelings, and you understand that it is not just you who is currently in this situation.
So when things go wrong, as sometimes it will, don’t be quick to judge, to blame or don’t be lash out your anger to someone. Be more understanding and kinder than usual. All of us needs this, all of us needs to be this person to each other. While you’re trying to do this for others, do take care of yourself as well.
