Make the most of what you have.
Know that everything you have at home are chosen by you and your loved ones based on your likes. From the last time you de-clutter, pretty sure you already moved out the things that you don’t like or need. So, move around your house and see what you got. Probably there’s a guitar hanging on your wall, maybe this can help you bring back time and make music close to your heart. Ingredients you bought for awhile stocked in the cabinet, maybe it is waiting for you to cook with love. Or that cute notebook or pen you recently bought to inspire you to write, maybe today is the time to be creative. You’ll be surprised how much more you can find and use.
Give yourself a little time to do nothing.
Yes, you heard it right, totally zero work. Goof around, play video games, lay down, snuggle your dog, look outside – whatever it is that you love doing that requires no effort and just plain relaxation. We need to have this little moment every once in a while.
Be more generous.
Remember the time you were truly happy? Isn’t it the little things you do for others? It’s like a hug, you give it and you instantly receive a hug back. Give time or share your blessing, either way seeing you made someone smile boomerangs the good vibe back to you. It doesn’t have to be grand. It can be as simple as surprising a frontliner today with a cup of refreshing milk tea, or calling someone alone today and check up on them, or giving a portion of what you cooked to your neighbor. These little things, bring joy to others and to your heart too.
