How to stay cool (when your AC is broken)

Here’s a case of one very wrong timing. It is Summer and the government called for a month long quarantine. On the same day, our air conditioner decided to take a rest. Really? At this time when we can’t leave the house, WTF right?! But we have to deal with what we are given. So, here are the 5 things that have helped us get through each hot day:

  1. WATER. Drink lots of water. You may most likely be sweating a lot, so it’s best to replace them as often, and as many.
  2. ELECTRIC FAN. Have one for each place in the house if you can, but don’t forget to always turn it off when no one is in the room. It blows a little breeze all over the place, but it doesn’t keep it cold.
  3. SHOWER. Do it twice, or as much as you need. This drops your body temperature, rinses off the sweats, and removes the sticky feeling. This freshens you up, totally.
  4. ICE. Take short trips to the fridge. Not just so you can feel the freeze escape to touch your skin, but to really get ice. Smoothies can really be refreshing in this type of weather.
  5. LIGHT CLOTHES. Wear light colors and light weight. Thin linen, soft cotton fabric, satin are the wise choices here.

Don’t let the summer heat win and affect your mood. Find 100 ways to feel fresh, and then call a repair crew to fix the AC soon :). For now, quarantine and chill!
